Caring for your email inbox is a lot like showering regularly. You don't shower once "really good", and then not have to shower again for a month. You're always going to be getting emails and other information coming into your life, so you need to adjust to accommodate for that steady flow IN, as well as making sure there's a steady flow going OUT as well. Keeping emails in your inbox without them flowing out is a lot like continuing to eat and never pooping.

You can have relationships with all sorts of things. Not just people, and certainly not just in the context of a romantic relationship or a friendship. Your relationships are just your thoughts you have about the other person or the other thing, and in this week's episode, I dive in to my relationship with a piece of hardware/technology that I would like to improve, so then I get a different result. All it takes is a willingness to take a look at our thoughts, and give ourselves the space to decide, if we truly can think anything we want about something, what would you want to think and feel? The limit is the sky.

Going Paperless with ADHD - 64. Self-Concept (Your Thoughts About You)
play

03/02/22 • 47 min

Deciding what you want to think and believe about yourself is the main tool and concept that will stop you from organizing your entire life, then rebounding back to where you started because you couldn't keep up with the systems you created. If your identity doesn't change to support the new results you create, you will ultimately snap back to that old software. Long-lasting results require a software update to your brain, so it thinks thoughts that support your results you worked so hard to create. See you inside for a deep dive into this life-changing concept that you can start applying right away.

Going Paperless with ADHD - 57. Your Thoughts About The New Year

57. Your Thoughts About The New Year

Going Paperless with ADHD

01/12/22 • 23 min

You probably have thoughts about the new year that make you feel like sh*it, and you don't even realize yet that they are completely optional. "I should make big changes in my life," "I should set a big goal," or even "I have to start fresh" and "hit the ground running" are all optional, and I give you some new perspectives on what to do instead, if the neurotypical "expected" way of goals feels yucky this year. P.S. - I love impossible goals, the bigger the better. Do an impossible goal, if you WANT TO. But if it just so happens you don't want to? Both are perfectly amazing options.

The difference between massive action and passive action will make the world of difference for you reaching your goals, or spinning in unproductive action that *feels* productive, but really isn't. Since our brains are super intelligent and therefore super good at talking us into doing things that aren't actually productive, it's likely you've been spending too much time in passive action and don't even realize it. I have the solution! Enter: Massive Action.
