Going Deeper - Life's Not A Dress Rehearsal: Andy Gourley from Red Frogs

Life's Not A Dress Rehearsal: Andy Gourley from Red Frogs

Going Deeper

Ever wondered what difference a few hours a week can make over a lot of years? Boss Frog Andy Gourley does! Jo and Scott catch up with the Founder and Director of Red Frogs, a youth and young adult support movement that now spans the globe. Red Frogs are a positive intervention presence at youth festivals, parties and events in countries all over the world, and are most well known locally in Australia for their work at Schoolies, the annual school-leaver festival around the nation for high school graduates. Andy talks about how it started with some skaters that he had been mentoring, that he didn't want to see make terrible decisions at an important time in their lives. Now, the Red Frogs are Australia's favourite 'designated non-drinkers' at parties at Universities nation-wide.

The Fruit of Faithfulness: Pastor Israel Daniel

Jo and Scott spend time talking with Ps Israel Daniels from Shalom Ministries in Madurai, India. He recounts the story of following faithfully the invitations of God to steward the small things, and now God is faithfully opening up influence and fruitfulness in Israel's local community and wider. Ps Israel has established a children's campus, homework clubs in six local villages, and how he can further serve the needs of local villages in his region. Allow God to inspire you to steward the small things that He gives you, so that He can grow them into fruitful kingdom endeavours.

Resurrection Life: Lindsay Farrell

Dr. Lindsay Farrell is a regular guest on our Going Deeper podcast. He's an artist, art historian, scholar and lover of Jesus. In this special episode, Lindsay speaks with Jo and Scott about the unexpected turn in the trail: a recent diagnosis of an aggressive brain tumor. Lindsay speaks candidly about living well and finishing well, about what really matters, and about living out the love of Jesus in all seasons of life. Lindsay's story will confront and challenge your own thoughts about our resurrection, life and death and life after life after death in Jesus, and most importantly, asks us what we are doing with the time that God has given each of us.
