This episode of God Stories Radio has special guest, Jennifer (Jenn) Hough, joining the GSR trio to share her personal testimony. Jenn tells of how God delivered her through infertility issues, that she later learned saved her life. Due to an unknown and unexpected discovery of heart complications, that would have taken her life had she been able to get pregnant, God still delivered the son she always wanted. The adoption of Austin and the events that led up to it, are nothing short of a miracle that God had already orchestrated. Despite a multitude of health complications, a divorce, and finding love in her life again, Jenn shares how her family, Church and a personal relationship with God are what has carried her through the storms and joys of life.

Tonight we welcome Pastor Terry, from Perth Australia:

Terry is a pastor serving in the southern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, having previously worked in Christian education both in the UK and Perth. He graduated from Vose Seminary with a Masters's in Divinity in 2016. He loves sharing the Gospel and teaching the Word of God.

Terry and Sue arrived in Australia in 2003 from the UK for a 1-year adventure. They never returned! The beaches, the sun, and God’s call upon their lives persuaded them to settle in the land ‘down-under’. Today they have two grown-up children both married, with four grandchildren and counting.

Terry writes a popular weekly blog at terrynightingale.com called ‘4-minute Devotions’, short Bible-centred messages for the busy Christian on the go. He also writes Christian worship music and plays the guitar.

‘Looking Back to Move Forward’ is his first non-fiction book for Christian leaders – in fact for anyone who occasionally faces discouragement or setbacks. His second book, based on his blog, is entitled ‘Bite-size devotions for the busy Christian’. Both are published by Kharis Publishing.

Pastor Davon Hawkins - is a powerful voice in the Kingdom of God. He has a passion to help people understand that living life as a follower of Jesus Christ is about the relationship, not religion.

His grandmother was instrumental in introducing him to Jesus and bringing him up in the church from a young age in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. However, the lack of a father-figure, the enticement of the streets, and struggles of life drew him away from God. After trying to navigate life on his own terms through the murder of his brother and cousin, and the thoughts of suicide, he realized he couldn’t do it on his own. God answered the fervent prayers of his mother and grandmother when he found his way back to God.

His mother offered him a safe place in Denver, Colorado to rebuild his life and rekindle his relationship with God. Because of his own trials, he has the heart to reach the millennials and introduce them to the love of Jesus.

He became an ordained minister in 2018 and is the Associate Pastor of Rivers of Living Waters Fellowship in Centennial, CO where he ministers The Word of God alongside his mother, Pastor Monica Gilbert.

He worked as a Youth Probation Counselor for Allegheny County. Since then, God has called him into the world of entrepreneurship where he started his own company at the beginning of 2020.

He is a committed husband to his beautiful wife of 10 years; and a loving father to his two boys.

He shares his favorite Bible verse with his brother, Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
