Ep. 14 - Peace for the Prayerful
09/20/24 • 36 min
In the book of Philippians - Paul encourages us to not worry about anything, but rather to pray about everything. Tell God what we need, and thank Him for all He has done. And as we do this, we will experience the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding.
Life can be busy, stressful and overwhelming. And if we’re not careful, we can find ourselves feeling like we’re drowning under our burdens.
Praise the Lord - that He invites to come to Him as we are, and cast our burdens upon Him.
Today - Pastor Gary and I are back in the studio to discuss the recap of our annual fundraiser, give an update to Joab from our feeding center and discuss the blessing and power we can all find in prayer.

Finding Peace in Stressful Circumstances
In Psalm 73 the psalmist writes, “But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled; My steps had nearly slipped. For I was envious of the boastful, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.”
I think it’s safe to say everyone has struggled with these same thoughts at one point or another. Throughout life we all face various challenges that can leave us feeling anxious and maybe even jealous at times of wicked people who seem to have no worries at all.
In today’s episode Pastor Gary shares a devotional on Psalm 73 and answers the question we might ask ourselves...”is there any hope?” The answer, is found in Jesus Christ.
