EP13: The lonngg awaited episode with Social Media Medicine Woman - Sarah Fuller!! Sarah and I first started talking about the idea of getting her on the podcast when I first launched the show later last year, and when she FIRST started using social media intentionally.
When starting to use social media, Sarah had noticed she had a lot of judgments around social media -- people posting for attention grabbing, selling etc. She also noticed she had a fear as well. A fear of being seen here online. In this episode we break down her process of opening up to Instagram/Social Media and what it was like to start feeling seen on these platforms. How did the fear melt away? Yeah, we got into that!
Sarah started using social media more intentionally, wanting to share posts she thought she may have judged other people for. DAMN THIS IS MEDICINE!
As the process of using Instagram/Social more intentionally unfolded, Sarah experienced a massive amount of grief/loss in January 2023 when her husband (Kyle) passed and her 14 year old dog (Sue).
This outlet was yet another avenue for her to channel her grief journey and energy into and share her process with others online. Sarah found social media as a way to allow others to see where she was at in her journey, how she was doing and sharing it all. She cannot even count how many consistently reached/reach out to her thanking her for sharing as so many can relate to the grief/loss in their lives and what it feels like. The positive impact that has been shed onto the world with her posts/stories thanks to social media is massive.
"Every post is a prayer"- Sarah Fuller *had to put that quote in there from the podcast.
This episode is a powerful, raw, vulnerable one. Thank you so much to Sarah and her family for having me for the day and recording this episode.

EP17: SEASON 2! Celebrating 1 full year of podcasting! We have Jocelyn Eve, LICSW back on the show talking all about men's healing work, & group therapy offering Jocelyn and Dr. Adam Gladstone are running in January 2024.
The truth of the matter is, men need this work just as much as women. But, unfortunately our society has stigmatized this type of healing for men. Suppressing emotions, feelings, traumas can go on and on.
BUT, times are changing. And Jocelyn is pioneering the change in the world as we see it. Jocelyn and Adam are co-facilitating a 10 week online men's group healing beginning this month.
Within the experiential process group, Jocelyn has integrated several therapeutic tenets to encourage healing, growth, and connection such as (Internal Family Systems, Psychoeducation, Somatic work) + more.
There is a different energy in group spaces. In group, we don't feel so alone. We can truly feel seen, heard and accepted. This is where the real work begins. I cannot wait to see the change that ripples out into the world following this program and Jocelyn's work.
Thank you Jocelyn and Adam! Connect below to find out more about trauma recovery & group therapy.

In a world where we are so accustomed to be tensed, hardened, and stiff in our body -- Kenzie dives deep into her process of unraveling and softening in her body physically, emotionally, energetically and mentally.
In this episode, we dive deep into what it means to be in connection with the cycle of a woman's body, how Kenzie came into this embodied process with herself, womb based yoga practices (which she also offers on her online space!), and eating with the cycle of the woman's body and how nourishing this is + much more..
Through Kenzie's work as a yoga teacher (RYT 200 & leading MANY yoga teacher trainings and studio openings/manager) and her studies in Female Body Literacy, leading manyy woman's circles ( I was part of lots!) she is launching The Soft Spot -- an online sanctuary space created for women with the intention of empowerment, embodiment and healing practices.

What a beautiful episode this was with Jocelyn. She is a licensed clinical social worker, coach and group therapist. We met back at a circle in Salem MA earlier this year and have stayed connected ever since.
In this episode, we get into what brought Jocelyn into the field of therapy/ group trauma work /social work and what trauma informed means with these fields in mind. There can be a lot of nuance in today's lingo about what Trauma Informed means and how impactful the principles are in offering therapy, coaching and human-ing. We explore what trauma informed can involve and how it can be infused into the world more broadly.
Jocelyn shares the POWER of group therapy -- I would really like to try this soon. Jocelyn also facilitates body empowerment experiences (Body painting liberation workshops) that support others to feel comfort and powerful in their body. As many of us are taught to disconnect from our body, pleasure and power -- these spaces are a deep invitation to transmute the old stories of our bodies into new reclamation and reconnection. We chat about a recent empowerment workshop she organized and our stories around our bodies as well as formative experiences growing up. I LOVED this episode with Jocelyn, we go deep and I can't wait for you to hear :) Find her work below:
