In 2008 James Golding discovered he had an 11.5 cm tumor in him, and was diagnosed with Cancer. After recovering and riding across the USA, James was diagnosed with cancer again in 2011. 2012, James was given the all clear, and against all the odds has achieved World Records on the bike and is aiming to become the first Briton to win Race Across America.
This week, Jordan Addison sits down with James at his home in Portugal to discuss this remarkable journey in detail, his achievements, his goals, and his passionate message that anyone can overcome the odds to achieve anything. James is a close friend of the cafe, and we love this episode!

A few months back, Sarah Hammond introduced us here at G!RO to Ross Burrage who put out a call for some second hand kit for a project he was involved with in Uganda. 8 Large DHL boxed up and shipped to go to the amazing Masaka Cycling Club in the southern part of Uganda. The mission of the club is to offer a platform for men & women to access cycling as a sport, which for the vast majority would be near impossible being one of the poorest parts of the country. Its an amazing project that is having a real & significant impact in the lives of that area.
This week, Jordan was able to sit down with the man behind the project, Ross Burrage. He is also the man behind the excellent Hidden Athlete podcast, which delves into the lives of some of most extraordinary athletes on the planet. So sit back, grab a brew and enjoy!
