When Clementine learns that the university is going to decommission SEB, she decides to rescue the SEB, with a little help from Kallie and Cognos. The Director tells Grace where Fenn B is and Grace vows to save him. Laine suspects that a devastating attack on a local bee farm was caused by LifeStream's new nano-drones. Tasha confronts Zanditha Ess and is forced into submission. With Candice's help, Tasha fights back.

Kallie is struggling at the writers' workshop until she uses an AI, to do her homework. With Laine's new powers of perception, she is beginning to question her life as a veterinarian - she wants a bee change. Grace invites her to The Future of Pollination, a mega conference where they catch a glimpse of how Tasha and LifeStream plan to change the world.

Grace has to do it from the Laniakea. Meanwhile, as LifeStream nano-drones run rampant on Earth, killing all the bees, Laine uses her powers to get help from an unlikely ally. Zanditha Ess loses support from the Pro-Cull Alliance, but she has one last card up her sleeve.
