Confidence and Egotism

Confidence is a belief in oneself. A feeling or belief that you can do something well or succeed at something. Confidence is a general sense of belief and trust in your own ability to control your life. Egotism is the practice of talking and thinking about oneself excessively because of an undue sense of self-importance. A drive to maintain and enhance favorable views of oneself in regard for one's own talents or achievements; conceit, self-importance; acting with only one's own interests in mind that one is superior to or more important than others.
