Who remembers the Agnes Flood of 1972? If you grew up here in NEPA, you definitely do – or at the very least you've heard about it from those that do remember it. Well, it's been 50 years since that tragic event took place, and in this episode, we had the honor of talking all about the floods of NEPA with a local producer, director, and documentarian, Alexander Monelli. He recently completed a 50th Anniversary follow-up documentary called, Agnes 50, which will be premiering on June 23, 2022, on WVIA. During this interview, Al shared with us some snippets of his experiences while filming and interviewing people throughout all parts of the 570, including a funny story from one of his visits with a gentleman living in Selinsgrove. Please share this episode so we can help spread the word about the upcoming premiere!

The moral of this episode is, "Sometimes you just have to do it for yourself"! That's what today's guest, Carly Runco, owner of Carly Allen Personalized Educations Services aka C.A.P.E.S. did. Carly filled us in on how she went from running summer camps, to teaching, and working in the mental health field, all the while feeling as though she needed the freedom of being her own boss and to do her own thing. All of that leads us to C.A.P.E.S. We definitely enjoyed this episode and you will too! There is even a giveaway attached to this one, so listen for that keyword!
