Today our focus is on techno, with pioneers such as Plastikman, Evan Byer, Tremmeholler, and many more. Techno is finding that hypnotic, energetic, dark and dance appeal. I started with a couple of tracks that are more electro and breaks (by Justice and the Prodigy). But soon after it will transform into a deep techno mix where you forget where you are at, why your are dancing, and why that smile is so huge on your face. Contrary to belief, techno is very difficult to mix. Artists in techno like to bend the rules with tempo and formula. So you have to find the right transition to make it work well. I think we've done a great job here, but as always... the audience is the judge. I can't wait for next week as we will be releasing some mixes that have gone off the radar but deserve to be heard. Stay tuned on that one. Anyways, I'm done talking for now, let's get moving for our 8th installment of German Gay Party Zone.... the Techno ediition.
