Gia De Cadenet; author, teacher and expat is this week’s guest; she talks about her latest book; Getting His Game Back, why she left the US to move to France and the many differences among cultures - this conversation is definitely one for travellers, Europe enthusiasts or the writers/bookworms among you!

In more detail, their conversation starts with Gia explaining when her love of France & Paris first appeared, followed by her first time living there (for approximately 6 weeks), then how it all went wrong upon her return, aside from her meeting her now-husband. Their conversation on France continues with the differences between it to the US and why she decided to stay living there, before they talk about Gia’s new book & her inspiration behind writing it as well as her next book; Not The Plan. Gia provides some context to her book’s characters, it’s themes, why she wrote it and how it already has a life of it’s own which includes Gia explaining her writing process and what she has planned for the future of her books!
