Geek Mentality

Took me long enough to get back into the swing of things - and the first thing I do since Movie Month is a Superman movie that doesn't even have Superman in it? Does this movie even count? How can I get away with this!? Easy! I make the rules - so this 1,000% counts. Yay!!! Enjoy as I go back to 1984 and watch Supergirl for the first time since...1984.

Here we are once again. The end of another successful movie month. 30 more movies watched and podcasted about on a daily basis for 30 days. Eight years and I’ve still never missed a day. That’s 240 movies! And I wanted to end of a biggie, and I think I did! See you nerds again next year!

39 years and 4 days. That's how long it took for the original Blade Runner to finally be seen by these handsome eyes. A movie that has so many different version that I couldn't limit myself to just one....

I've had this on my radar all month long and knew without a doubt I wasn't going to finish out the month and not watch it - and I so glad for that fact. What a well-crafted movie with some fantastic performances. Everything I was expecting and more. So good.

And we finish up the Christopher Morris Weekend Spectacular with another movie he's been after me to watch for some time. In fact, this has been sitting in the "drafts" folder on the website for over a year. In that time the Rotten Tomatoes score when up 1% and the service I used to watch switched over from HBO Max to Tubi. What does that have to do with the movie itself? Not much. It's a long one. It's a violent one. But was it a good one? Ooh that's called a tease - listen and find out!
