This week, we're going over the definition of "furry merch" and how the idea of merchandise bought and sold for the furry fandom has expanded. Then Finn dives deeper into his thoughts on mailing furry convention badges to help make the lines at convention registration shorter, including if the idea is even viable at all!

Furries are a very diverse fandom, but there are a few interests that are shared amongst the community at large. One of those interests is gaming; the history between furries and gamers is rich, and while they are unmistakingly different fandoms, there are many things about the two groups that are in common with one another. Part of the experience for both fandoms includes their own conventions, and Finn had a chance to experience a local gaming convention, and compare and contrast one from that community and cons from the furry community!

An update on the state of this podcast.

Attending a furry convention can be one of the most fun activates one can do as a furry! These large gatherings of members of the furry fandom are seemingly filled with parties, dancing, and hanging out with friends. But despite what they may seem at face value, the most common activity that occurs at cons aren't parties or dances. They are actually based in education, where furries present to other furries about things regarding the fandom... Kinda what we do here. On this episode, we explain what these presentations, or panels, are, what their role is at furry conventions, and how you could go about doing one for yourself! Which can be a nice change of pace, before going back to partying late into the night...

One common thread amongst all of the topics on art that have been covered on this show is that in most cases, the buyer owns the character of which they are getting art from. They give permission to whomever the artist is to draw their character or sona and pay for that "labor" as part of a commission. But what if the ownership of the character is the other way around? What if the artist owns the character and is selling art of it? This week, we take a look at adoptables in the furry fandom, art that fits this realm of owned and drawn by the artist. Which makes what you actually get when you purchase one a little more interesting than usual...
