This month, we're joined by Tracy Miranda, Head of Open Source at Chainguard, for a lively discussion on her journey to open source and her role in building a more secure world. We'll discuss the value of security in the increasingly complex technology industry and how open source might just be the solution we need to make things more secure than ever.
About Tracy Miranda:
Tracy Miranda is making open source secure by default at Chainguard. Previously Tracy helped launch and was executive director of the Continuous Delivery Foundation (CDF) home of Jenkins, Spinnaker and Tekton. Prior to CDF, Tracy was the Director of Open Source at CloudBees. Tracy is a veteran of the open source technology industry with nearly twenty years of experience scaling large projects such as Jenkins and Eclipse. Tracy’s background also includes developer tools, embedded software and electronics system design. Tracy has two patents for her work on processor architectures.

In the final episode of our inaugural season, we're ecstatic to be joined by Steve Millidge, Founder of Payara Services Limited, the creators of the Payara Server. Join us as he takes us through his journey from his start as an experimental physicist working on lasers to building an open source organization from the ground up. Steve dives into the intricacies of building a company, from choosing a name to hiring the best there is (with some advice on how to stand out amongst the crowd).
