Buying Black and Going Viral with Target While Black founder Marissa Kearney

Marissa Kearney, the founder of @TargetWhileBlack is all about mindful buying and dives into the challenges Black brands face in the retail space, the assistance available to make it a bit easier, and the other side of going viral on Instagram and TikTok.
Marissa is a former teacher turned Influencer for Black Brands. Her popular platforms, TargetWhileBlack and RetailWhileBlack turned into a movement where she shows the community they can also shop Black in retail stores. On her pages she, highlights Black brands, representation, and all-around cool things she finds in retail. Her overall goal is to raise awareness and increase exposure to Black brands in retail stores.
