Freedom Families

Nathan is back with us this week to discuss the difficult, but crucial topic of pornography. If you missed last week's episode with Nathan, go back to see how the Gospel relates to video games.
At what age should we start having conversations with our kids about our body parts, privacy, what's appropriate and not appropriate - and, what does that look like?
How has our rapidly advancing technological world impacted the conversations we need to be having with our spouses and children?
What safe guards should we have on our phones, tablets and computers when it comes to inappropriate pictures and videos?
What can we do if we or a loved one is trapped in a pornography (or other sexual) addiction?
Finally, prayer for those dealing with a pornography addiction. We pray for Jesus to break the chains of sin in your life to give you Freedom In Christ!
See below for many resources!
Nathan and Anna Sutherland are the founders of Gospel Tech
Why Gospel Tech?
We believe Jesus came to set us free. Often, our technology gets in the way of our relationship with God and others. We want to see children and parents alike freed from the hold tech has on them. Our goal is simple: Teach families to see where tech is helping and where it is hurting their call to love God and love others; teach the difference between Tool Tech and Drool Tech; provide resources to develop healthy habits; build a community of support as families create new relationships with tech.

Even young children have access to the internet and they deserve to be armed early against its dangers.
Good Pictures Bad Pictures Jr. makes it easy for parents to protect young children ages 3-6 with the Turn, Run & Tell plan!
Written by the best-selling author of the original Good Pictures Bad Pictures book, the Jr. version is a comfortable way for parents to empower their young kids with their first internal filter!

God Made All of Me is a simply-told, beautifully-illustrated story to help families talk about these sensitive issues with two- to eight-year-old children. Because the private parts of our bodies are private, the home is the ideal environment where a child should learn about his or her body and how it should be treated by others. God Made All of Me starts from the fundamental truth that God created everything and applies that truth—the doctrine of creation—to kids and their bodies. It equips parents to talk with both boys and girls about their bodies and to help them understand the difference between the appropriate and inappropriate touch of others.

Family Revision | Jeremy Pryor

Jeremy Pryor grew up in Seattle - a city with more pet dogs than children. Growing up, he didn't think that was strange at all and, in fact, figured he would live in a similar way to everyone else. That all changed when he was 23-years-old and found himself in Jerusalem.
It doesn't take much analyzing to see that our culture is broken. This is largely because families are broken. What has gone wrong? Is there anything we can do about it? Jeremy explains how there is a RADICALLY different way to think about and do *family*. These concepts and principles of family are found in scripture, are lived out by many Jewish families still today and will change your family's life and legacy for generations.
Jeremy and his wife, April, train and mentor families to live as "multi-generational family teams on mission". Find resources, courses, a Masterclass, Israel tours, books and how to sign up for the Homeroom group mentioned in the show at: https://familyteams.com/
