3 Steps To Create Your Dream Life Course: https://www.lindsaysutherland.com/3-Steps-To-Dream-Life
Moving to a log cabin in the woods was not an easy feat. With a family of 7, a non-transferrable career, and no idea how to make it happen my family and I embarked on a mission to live our someday dream life sooner rather than later.
After losing both of my parents before they hit retirement I knew that life is short and there is no guarantee of someday. I couldn't fathom working another 20, 30, or 40 years and THEN getting to live my dream life. I wanted my cake and I wanted to eat it too.
My husband and I made a promise to chase the dream (after ten years of talking about it) and that is when the magic finally started. In fact, there was a specific turning point that later became clear to me was extremely significant to leveraging the power of my will; the free will that God has blessed us all with.
Looking back, I realized there were three specific steps we took to create our dream life. Since then I have tried this formula on other areas of my life. I've manifested a horse (a dream I've had in my heart for years and kept putting off), $10,000 surprise check in the mail, and countless less noteworthy things that make my life simpler!
Now, I'm offering a course to help you create the life of your dreams too. Follow the three steps I outline and practice the specific mindset strategies I detail in the course to achieve your someday life sooner too!

Spouses - How much influence should they have on our business?
Freedom Entrepreneur Podcast
12/18/23 • 18 min
Welcome back, freedom seekers, to another enlightening Monday Mindset episode. We're thrilled to have you join us once again as we delve into a somewhat controversial topic today. As solopreneurs building businesses from the comfort of our homes, we often contemplate involving our spouses in crucial decisions. There are compelling reasons for this, from financial investments to time commitments that impact our families. But should we always let our spouses influence these decisions? Let's explore this topic further.
[00:00:00] - Introduction
In the world of entrepreneurship, the dynamics of involving our spouses in our business decisions can be intricate. From allocating investment capital to addressing family-related concerns, there are numerous factors to consider. On today's episode, we aim to unravel the complexities of this issue.
[00:01:00] - The Entrepreneurial Mindset
Running a business requires a unique entrepreneurial mindset that may differ from being a traditional employee. Entrepreneurs often face higher risks and uncertainties. While sharing our business details with our spouse seems like a natural step, it may not always be the best approach.
[00:02:00] - The Influence of Spouses
Relying on our spouses for approval or permission in our business decisions can be limiting. It's important to remember that their perspective may not align with the entrepreneurial path we've chosen. Moreover, even if they are entrepreneurial themselves, they may not fully grasp our business model.
[00:03:00] - Seeking Mentorship and Guidance
In many cases, it's more beneficial to seek mentorship or guidance from experienced individuals who understand our specific business challenges. While we value our spouse's input, relying solely on them can hold us back.
[00:04:00] - Gender Dynamics
Gender dynamics often play a role in this scenario. Men tend to be more confident and decisive in making decisions, while women may second-guess themselves and seek their spouse's input. However, trusting our instincts and making decisions that align with our mission is essential.
[00:05:00] - The Impact of Spousal Influence
Compromising our business decisions due to spousal influence can lead to resentment and regret. It's crucial to prioritize our business mission and follow our instincts, even if it means taking calculated risks.
[00:06:00] - A Personal Story
A personal example highlights how spouses may have different approaches to business. Even with a partner's managerial experience, their perspective may not align with our vision and methods.
[00:08:00] - A Client's Experience
We share the story of a client whose husband's pressure to give up her thriving e-commerce business created a dilemma. Following her instincts and business mission proved to be the right choice, despite initial challenges.
[00:10:00] - Trusting Your Instincts
Ultimately, trusting your instincts and understanding your business mission is paramount. Seeking counsel from third-party experts and maintaining healthy boundaries with your spouse ensures the best decisions for your business.
[00:12:00] - Embracing Growth Opportunities
Following your instincts may lead to unexpected growth opportunities. While the path may have occasional pivots, staying true to your mission is key.
[00:14:00] - Commitment to Your Mission
Successful entrepreneurs, like Elon Musk, make strategic decisions based on their commitment to their mission. Knowing your mission and staying dedicated to it guides your decision-making process.
[00:16:00] - Conclusion
In conclusion, as business owners, it's essential to trust your instincts, prioritize your mission, and seek guidance from third-party experts when necessary. While involving your spouse in decision-making is valuable, maintaining your autonomy and conviction is equally vital. Thank you for tuning in to this episode, and remember to stay true to your entrepreneurial journey. Until next time, goodbye for now.

Amazon Retail Store: Can you really make money?
Freedom Entrepreneur Podcast
10/19/22 • 42 min
On the podcast, Ann Sieg shares more about how she started her journey as a network marketer and eventually transitioned into building an online business. She homeschooled her boys who eventually discovered their own interest in online business. Over time, each of her sons played a role in helping her build the E-commerce Business School; a school dedicated to helping people escape the rat race by making consistent income with an Amazon retail store.
Ann's heart-driven mission is seasoned with 18 years of experience helping families. After learning more about her and her team I felt strongly that they're a great resource for the PIE Tribe!
Ann and I hosted a workshop together to help you get more familiar with her program. The workshop details:
How long does it take to make money with an Amazon Store
How much time and energy does it take to build an Amazon Store
How much experience do you need to make a profitable Amazon Store
Plus, when you register, you'll receive Ann's Profit Projection Calculator that shows exactly how much you need to invest to reach your monthly goals... whether that’s an extra 1k, 5k, or 10k+ per month! You'll get a copy of the calculator to use on your own. And you'll receive a workbook created specifically for the workshop so you can really dig into the training.
I love when we find partners that can illuminate the path and dispel the muddy waters! Click this text to register for the free webinar to see if building an Amazon store is right for you.
Some say Amazon stores are not passive because they can be labor-intensive. This is certainly true if you try to build and maintain the store on your own. This is why the E-commerce Business School teaches its students to build a business that incorporates outsourced labor to offset the time and energy you personally are putting into the business. Although, Ann and I agree that it is vital for each business owner to be well-versed in all aspects of the business and to have a clear understanding of how each element works so that you can effectively manage your investment.
I asked Ann about how many people she has helped build an Amazon store. The answer blew me away! Almost 9,000 people have built life-changing Amazon businesses as a result of the E-commerce Business Schools training. The success of her students is personally a high priority to Ann which was another reason I decided to sponsor her program. I love how she helps people systemize their businesses from the ground up so that they can quickly scale.
When built correctly, Amazon retail stores can be a revenue-generating machine. There is much to know about how to build a successful e-commerce store. Having a trusted guide to help from the beginning increases the odds of success exponentially.

Hey Freedom Seekers, get ready to expand your horizons with this episode that will shift your perspective on living a fully vibrant life. Last week, we delved into productivity hacks, emphasizing the importance of managing your energy. Today, we're taking a deeper dive into the concept of energy management and how it can transform your life.
I'll walk you through three key aspects:
Firstly, we'll explore how to conduct an energy audit, helping you identify what truly fuels you and what drains you. Then, we'll discuss the power of intentional relationships, scenarios, and environments that uplift and energize you, drawing inspiration from Brendan Burchard's insightful book, "Charged."
But wait, there's more! Ever wondered how to invigorate long-term relationships, like a marriage that's seen its fair share of years? I'll share a personal anecdote about how intentional conversations revitalized my 16-year marriage, proving that even the most established relationships can benefit from a strategic energy boost.
And let's not forget about the importance of fostering deep, meaningful friendships. I'll reveal how I've cultivated "growth friendships" by setting clear guidelines, ensuring that our interactions are always uplifting and supportive.
So buckle up, because I'm sharing practical, real-life applications of these strategies that you can implement in your own life starting today. Tune in and discover how to infuse your life with energy, purpose, and passion.
