S04E09: The Alabaster Box: Responding to Extravagant Love
Series: Lessons from the Public Ministry of Jesus Christ

The characters in the Easter story remind us of the role of women in Jesus's ministry and in God's plan of salvation as a whole, beginning with Eve in the garden of Eden. At Easter, it took a woman with an Alabaster Box of very expensive perfume to show us how to respond to God's extravagant Love for humanity, which would be demonstrated in the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made, to pay the price of our Salvation. Her singular act of inexplicable love and devotion a week to the crucifixion of Jesus has memorialized her for eternity. In this episode, I discuss how the woman with the Alabaster box sets an example of how to respond to God's extravagant love for us.

S02E04: God's Template for success

Dr Douglas Dickson discusses wealth, riches, and prosperity from a biblical perspective and how we can relate to them as required by God.
Title: God’s Plan and Purpose for Success.
Introduction:
The Apostle John wrote in his third epistle, 3 John 2 that he wishes his friend will ‘prosper’ and be in health as his soul is prospering. Since the biblical definition of ‘prospering’ includes being successful. I am therefore using success in this context, as synonymous to prosperity. Unfortunately, the teaching of prosperity in the church stirs up so much controversy, to the point of it being labelled as promoting greed and excess, sometimes rightly so. The discussion of the topic of prosperity in church therefore raises several questions including: How do we define prosperity? is prosperity really bad, does God endorse and want us to prosper? As usual, we will turn to scriptures for answers to these and many other questions we may have. Fortunately, The bible is very clear about God’s plan and purpose and boundaries of our relationship with prosperity. In these series of Episodes, I am joined by guests to discuss various topics relating to how God views prosperity, wealth, and riches and how we can relate to them the way God envisaged.

In the Parable of the prodigal son, his father gave an order to have his son clothed with the best robes as he received him home. Similarly, God our father offers us various garments when we come home to him. While we receive these garments by grace through faith, it is our responsibility to wear and maintain them. In this episode, I discuss what these garments are and how we should maintain them.

S0421: The Role of Women In the Jesus's Ministry
Series: The Female In God's Plan

The body of Christ is divided over the role of women in the work of ministry, but God has no such problem. Actually, God has had women in His plans before the foundation of the world. Since Jesus is the Lamb slain before the foundation the world, God must have known that the Lamb had to become flesh by being born of a woman, a virgin in Nazareth, called Mary. Also, right after the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, God made an alliance with Eve against the devil. So, why does the body of Christ struggle with the role of women in the church? In this episode, I discuss how Jesus embraced women in his earthly Ministry as an example of how God views women in His Plans for humanity.
