In just one week, the new Forza Motorsport game will be launched, and we break down what we're hearing and seeing so far about the game. We dive into some concerns we have with the rollout and promotion, specifically issues with the Premium Edition and the Add-On version. Jason raises some very valid points on behalf of all disc owners who want premium, and Aren discusses the pointlessness of the early access incentive. Get out the tin foil hats, because we have some baseless conspiracy theories for you! Forza Horizon has had a wild hot streak of great updates, and it almost perfectly coincides with the former Playground Games Creative Director leaving the company. Do we have any evidence there's a connection? Nope. Does it line up? Yep, it lines up way too well. Regardless, we still touch on the hottest topic in Forza right now, the Barbie Movie partnership and the corresponding giveaways and heavier-than-expected attention it's getting from official accounts. Jason makes an excellent point about the negatives that come with the Barbie partnership, and it might not be a point you have considered. We also recap yet another incredible year watching IMSA at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (thank you Sam Fellows🐐), we talk Koenigsegg Gemera, and Jason has a spirited Complaint Corner. Can you name a character from Forza Horizon 3? What about 4 or Forza Horizon 5? We sure as heck couldn't, and that was a big talking point on this edition of the Forza World Podcast. We're back after a little summer break, and we had some Forza topics to discuss, and a ton of car news to cover, including new cars from Koenigsegg, Bentley, McLaren, Bugatti, Hennessey, Dodge, Honda, and more, as well a new Ford engine, and much more. The boys also have some interesting Forza news too: some personalities from Donut Media (Past Gas Podcast) will be featured at some point in Forza Horizon 5. This is pretty significant, because to our knowledge, this will mark the first time that real public figures will be featured in a Horizon game, and be seen as well. All this and more on episode 8!

In episode 5 of the Forza World Podcast, we preview our time at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park at the IMSA Chevrolet Grand Prix! Jason recaps his time in Montreal at the F1 GP, and the boys compare the two experiences from a fan perspective. In Forza news, Aren airs some issues with the new turn-in response changes that may have flown under the radar for most people, effectively ruining some types of cars as far as drivability goes. Andrew gives some quick updates on his car's smoking problem. To no one's surprise, the trio all have separate issues with their vehicles just days prior to the race weekend. There is considerably less science talk this week, and as we await the release of the Hot Wheels car pack, not much Forza news to discuss for at least a few more days. Complaint Corner for this week is construction work not being done during the middle of the day, on a weekday, in perfect weather. F*** That Car is Andrews's inaugural pick, and he went with the lovely Hyundai Veloster.

The guys dive into the Rally Adventure expansion before its complete reveal, and to no one's shock, Jason nails the prediction (mid). Still, it could have been worse, and the fellas give a thoughtful analysis. Also, get your tin foil hats on! Forza Horizon creative director Mike Brown, along with a few other employees working in key areas, have left Playground games. Could this be the start of noticeable changes and improvements to some areas we've been complaining about? We give a full, baseless guess on what it could mean (further reading here). One cool idea could be the introduction of customizable race suits, a suggestion from one of our followers! Moving on, Jason has some complaints about people who badmouth German cars and their reliability, we talk NASCAR's Garage 56 entry into Le Mans and brief F1 season predictions.
