We’re back to process the inaugural race of 2024 season, the Bahrain GP. This was the race where we all get to stop speculating, the sand bags fall off, the engines get turned up, and we arguably figure out what the pecking order for the first part of the season will be. Turns out, not so different from the end of 2023. How big will the gap to RBR be this year?
Ferrari, Mercedes and Williams all had mechanical issues. Stake had pit stop issues. Visa Cash Grab Racing App Bulls had strategy issues. And Max was on auto-pilot.

We’re balk to talk about the 2023 Qatar GP, which was dangerous, disorganized and didn’t need to be either of those things. With a sprint race weekend format, new asphalt, no support races to improve track conditions , degrading tires due to Lusail’s unique curbs, evolving track limits, racing in exceptionally hot and humid weather and some inter-team politics, there’s a lot to unpack.

This week we recap our trip to very plausible state of Oregon, for in the inaugural Portland E-Prix. The switch to a traditional racetrack led to over 400 overtakes and ultimately shook up the order at the top of the championship table. Did our first live Formula E race live up to expectations? Spoiler alert: Absolutely!
