Part 1: Culture War Hypocrisy
09/29/22 • 28 min
In this episode Costi Hinn begins a four part series to address hypocrisy within our camp as the culture war continues, along with proposed solutions. This episode deals with Michael O’Fallon. The next episode will address Douglas Wilson, and subsequent episodes feature faithful pastors and leaders providing wisdom and practical guidance. As those who are anti-woke, calling out false teachers, emphasizing character, and standing up for gospel truth, we must look in the mirror and remember that God is not honored and Christ is not pleased when we tolerate Jezebel while slandering God’s servants. In an effort to be considered the “tip of the spear” for anti-wokeness, certain men have crept in to position themselves as necessary prophetic insiders, yet they maintain unholy alliances with known false teachers yet verifiably slander their own brethren without cause. Furthermore, ministry and church leaders, pastors. speakers, board members, and advisors must be held above reproach in their alliances and resolute in their integrity, so that they are marked by faithfulness. Far be it from us to operate in ways that we would call out, or to tolerate deceitful workers in the name of politics. The best of men are still men at best, and we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. It is better to deal with these matters on this side of heaven, lest we tolerate what Christ never would, and answer to Him for it.

Can the Gift of Prophecy Be Fallible?
Every year we hear of numerous prophecies by people who call themselves "prophets" or "prophetesses," yet these prophetic words do not come true. While the Bible has clear definitions for true and false prophets, many charismatics argue that there is such a thing as "fallible prophecy" in which supposed words from the Lord were mistaken by the prophet. What should we make of this? In this episode, Costi Hinn breaks down the true gift of prophecy and the office of prophet, while laying out 5 dangers with fallible prophecy from Dr. Nathan Busenitz.

Reflections on the Tongue (James 3)
Using words with wisdom is so important for all of us, especially those who are teachers in the body of Christ. In this episode, Costi Hinn walks through a reflection on James 3 and what God's Word says about how we ought to guard our tongues. As believers, we can use our tongues to bring wisdom, or we can wound others. The wisdom from God is the kind of wisdom that should be on our lips at all times.
