Little Women
Fire and Wine Podcast
02/23/20 • 65 min
This is one of our favorite stories, exploring the world created by author Louisa May Alcott. Barb gives a brief overview of this author's transcendentalist upbringing and her inspiration to write the novel "Little Women". We compare and contrast both Little Women movies directed by Gillian Armstrong (1994) and Greta Gerwig (2019). These movies follow the main protagonist Jo March and her three sisters (Meg, Beth and Amy) during the American Civil war era in Concord, Massachusetts. Wine, restricted corsets and the dreamy Christian Bale all play prevalent roles while we analyze our favorite movie(s)!

It took a long time, but we're here. It's a 2 hour episode and we have a lot to say so buckle down people. Get your sticky notes ready because we're here to give you our honest review of the last season of The Game of Thrones. We waited a long time because we knew that we needed time to heal and swallow a big bitter pill before releasing our opinions to the public. We love the cast and crew of GOT and thank them for the years of dedication and hard work towards the show. We have dedicated years of our lives to this show, and we really feel like we needed to give a honest and just review. Please understand that we left it a long episode on purpose because the show meant a lot to us and we wanted to convey our opinions clearly.
