Most people have very mixed emotions about receiving an inheritance from someone. Meaning that although what is being passed down may be a blessing and an honor to receive, this also means that the one who has made you their beneficiary has typically passed on. Unlike a person’s legacy, an inheritance specifically refers to an exchange of assets whether that be monetary, real-estate, family heirlooms, stocks, or assets otherwise.
