With Social Distancing and successive lockdowns, it seems we’re all experiencing loneliness in 2020 a bit more than usual. For some it’s harrowing to go without daily social contact. For others, alone time is relaxing or productive. It seems to be highly subjective. But what’s the purpose of feeling lonely? And are there dangers to chronic loneliness? On today’s episode, we’re discussing the feelings of being lonely. While Covid has certainly amplified this issue, it’s not a new phenomenon; But has 2020 given us a chance to learn about loneliness and how to deal with it better?
