Episode 1
The first in multiple episodes of Women And Their Tattoos. Kristie Fuller returns to chat about her body art, being authentic, and finding our tribe.
PLEASE NOTE: We discuss multiple topics and some may be distressing to listeners: discussion includes the subject of trauma.

Kristie Fuller is a practicing LMHC via telehealth for clients in Florida, by being her sweary genuine self: " I help people who are intimidated by stuffy, bored, tired, and traditional style therapy. It's just fuckin' therapy, right? Why can't it be more direct, more brash, real, down to earth, and genuine without all the bullshit?
I specialize in working with adults who are ready to deepen their awareness of their internal landscape, so that they can understand who they are, what they are thinking and feeling, and how those interact to create behaviors.
My practice is welcoming to everyone looking for someone who is dedicated to creating an enviroment that is inclusive, diverse, LGBT friendly, sex-positive and neurodivergent-affirming. My clients enjoy working with me because I create a safe space for them to be truly their authentic self. "

Fuck The Rules Podcast
Season 3 Episode 6
My guest, Steven Kmiec, PhD, is back for part two of the discussion regarding science behind glass and honey.
So much of what we discuss comes from passion to know more about how things work, what happens if we try to change it, and what do we learn when it doesn't work out. Much like how we as humans move through our lives, society, cultures, and how we negotiate our way in and out of relationships. Which path do we take? How passionate are we about what we want? Will it work out?

Fuck The Rules Podcast
Season 2 Episode 1
And I'm back for Season 2!
Child No. 1 (aka Seneca) asked to interview me, and I agreed. We talk about the difference between being seen in an ER setting and in private practice. I talk about working with patients or client that may have suicidal ideation. We discuss what it's like to have therapists that were not the best for us and what you can do about it if you're not grooving with your therapist. How I went into seeing First Responders, Law Enforcement and hospital staff in addition to those in the LGBTQ+ community. And finally, how the fuck I ended up with seven kids when I had planned on being childless when I was younger.
PLEASE NOTE: We discuss multiple topics and some may be distressing to listeners: discussion of mental health evaluations in an ER setting, suicide/suicidal ideation, and negative therapy experiences.

Hiatus Replay - Therapy Info Series
Fuck The Rules Podcast
Orginally aired: 12/05/2023
When you think about a sex therapist, do y'all bring to mind multiple films or shows that have the therapist sleeping with their clients? That's not a certified sex therapist. It's a work of storytelling that's not true to that specific therapy.
I'm grateful to Michele that she gave me some of her free time to discuss what her experiences have been in the journey to being a certified sex therapist, work with clients and what she feels how this type of therapy helps clients.
PLEASE NOTE: there are multiple topics discussed including frank sexual discussion.
For more info on Michele:
Michele LaReau-Alves is an LMHC, and AASECT certified sex therapist, working in private practice with couples and sexual issues. She worked in community mental health for 20 years where she started out addressing the complex struggles of children and families in the social services system. This led to a passion for working with the core unit of the family system, couples, and parents, who are instrumental in breaking the cycles of intergenerational trauma. Over the years she has cultivated an approach that reinforces the need for joy, pleasure, and a sense of wellbeing in life; and where mindfulness and wellness are foundational. Her work as a relationship and sex therapist invites the many expressions of relationship, identity, and sexuality into the process of finding healing and reconnection, while also identifying and shifting the cycles and narratives that keep us stuck and hurting.
