Fashion Originators with Stephanie Irwin

Today I have the joy of speaking with Andrew Loader, the founder of fashionworkie.com, on why unpaid internships are a problem!

If you’ve ever looked for a fashion job, then you’ve probably been on his site. All the big brands post their internships and jobs there, and it’s a go-to for everyone in the industry. I’m thrilled to be chatting to Andrew, who has a background in PR and graphic design before starting fashion workie.

In this chat we’ll not only be talking about his journey to starting fashion workie, but we’ll primarily be covering his thoughts on the fashion job market and what he has seen throughout the years, and his thoughts on finding a job in fashion during the coronavirus.

Will virtual clothing overtake the fashion industry? ft. Aglet App founder @ryandavidmullins

This week I have the joy of chatting with Ryan Mullins, the founder of Aglet. Aglet is a sneaker gaming app that launched in the app store roughly a month ago. In the app, users go on in-game shopping sprees, sport virtual sneakers and earn ‘aglet’ in the real world (we’ll explain what that is later).

Ryan also has an incredibly interesting background – having attended Berkeley and MIT, and having been the director of future trends at adidas.

Today, we’re going to not only be chatting about aglet, but we’ll also be covering the future of digital clothing and the gamification of fashion.
