Gother tells them Legano is in the stairwell and Fuller pulls her gun and hurries after him. Truman and Gother attempt to reconstruct the tones Legano entered into the keypad to open the hidden door. Truman leaves Gother to it and rushes into the stairwell to offer Sandy Fuller backup. She corners Legano on the bottom floor stairs and demands his surrender. Legano spins around and shoots her in the arm, causing her to drop her gun. Legano moves in for the kill when a gunshot grooves the top of his outstretched arm and he loses his gun. He turns to find Alexa Silven holding him in her sights. Before Truman arrives on the scene, Silven slips out of the building, leaving Ray Talbert’s incriminating letter on the step near Legano. Truman issues an APB on her and returns to Stoney’s office, leaving Sandy in control of Legano’s arrest. Gother finally opens the hidden door to the secret room where he and Truman find classical art forgeries, in progress...

Hoping Alexa is headed to the church where her dad is holding revivals, Truman and Gother commandeer an arriving squad car and speed to meet her before the police can corner her. Gother reads Ray Talbert’s letter to Truman. They discreetly enter the church side door to see Alexa walking slowly down the aisle to her dad in loud applause. A muffled gunshot rings out and Silven stumbles but instantly turns and fires into the balcony. Pastor O’Siloven cradles Alexa in his arms as Truman and Gother chase the balcony assassin into nearby stores but he escapes out the back onto a motorcycle stashed behind a dumpster. As Truman and Gother return to the church, they find paramedics trying to revive Alexa and rush to her side. But she slowly relaxes her grip on their hands and focuses past them, slowly closing her eyes...
