Confronted with the severe impacts of climate change and prolonged droughts, Cabo Verde’s agricultural sector is under growing pressure. Through the FAO-China South-South Cooperation project, a team of Chinese experts was deployed to Cabo Verde to share essential expertise with farmers and livestock producers. They equipped them with tools and knowledge to combat pests and enhance soil and animal production, helping them adapt to the effects of a changing climate.
