Welcome to Fandom Variables! :) I am your host, Todd, and this inaugural episode was recorded on December 31, my birthday, on a whim & without even having a name decided during recording (I had one in mind; more on that below). Obviously, I thought of a name after recording. Actually, it's a name I've been "sitting on" for over 1.5 years. It was one of a myriad of un-used suggestions for the name of the podcast I do with my friends. I hesitated to use it because, since then, another podcast I listen to also has the word fandom in it. But, I couldn't think of a name I liked better (Fandom Variables is a play on words for Random Variables). So, I'm explaining here, to ensure that I'm not half-copycatting.
