As a masked vigilante, he attempts to bring crime in Gotham to a halt. He accompanies Lt. Gordon to crime scenes stages by the elusive Riddler, but the further he gets into trying to unmask the identity of this mastermind, the more he learns about the truth of his own background, and what his run as The Batman really means to the Gotham criminal faction.
