109- Currently Wandering Today on the show we have Sam and Jess from Currently Wandering who travel around the U.S. in a restored Airstream with 3 kids. Their family travels began a couple of years ago when they decided to House swap their home in Utah with a Military family from D.C. During the 18 day road trip to get to D.C., they decided they wanted to do this full time. Live life on the road. A more simple and slow life to explore the world around them. Didn't know all the details yet but wanted to pursue that. Once arriving in D.C. and within 2 months got an airstream and a truck and were ready to hit the road!

This week on the show we have Amber from Global Muchkins! She talks about the travels her family of 7 have taken in the last couple of years, and they don't plan on slowing down! Amber talks about how amazing it is to watch the kids learn so much more by traveling than they ever could learn in a text book.

Joining us this week is Tamara from We 3 Travel, a blog about balancing travel with the rest of life, work and living in community!

She tells us about some of the amazing adventures they've been able to take with their daughter, age 10, and how travel enriches life & broadens perspectives.

Ever look at the horizon and wonder what it would be like to sail away? Today on our show, we talk to two self titled "academics" who did exactly that. They choose a lifestyle that was radically different from the normal to raise their kids and experience world cultures!

They will be the first ones to point out that it isn't always easy, it is in fact a LOT of hard work, but they can't imagine living any other way. One of the benefits they talk about traveling this way, is the chance to spend quality time in different cultures and countries, and really immerse into what's around them.

108 - Were is the World Kyla from Where is the World joins us on the show to talk about why she travels with her family and some of the cool places they've experienced including over 5 weeks in West Africa with no electricity or running water where they stayed. She shares about how they enjoy places of the beaten path, 3rd world countries and non-touristy places where they're all forced out of their comfort zones. This helps the kids learn how to be flexible in any situation She writes on their blog "This doesn’t mean we never go to more traditional travel locales, we find an excuse to go to Paris whenever we can!
