On December 8, 1980, John Lennon and his wife, Yoko Ono, had a busy morning in The Dakota, their apartment building in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. They were photographed by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz for Rolling Stone, which produced the iconic image of naked John curled around fully-clothed Yoko. The couple then did an interview with Dave Sholin and Laurie Kaye for RKO Radio.
