We have been speaking to Simone Simons, vocalist for Dutch symphonic metal band Epica, for years, and each interview is an absolute pleasure to do. On this occasion we spoke about the upcoming album Omega, writing with the band together in one room, her dreams and nightmares, the Omega Point theory, looking back at their earlier work, working with Ayreon on Transitus, and a lot more!

Johnny Took is a guitarist and songwriter for the DMA's, an indie rock band from Sydney, Australia. The band gained notoriety with their Britpop inspired debut single 'Delete' and subsequent debut album Hills End (2016). Since then the band has expanded their sound, experimenting with electronics on their third album The Glow (2020) and continuing this trend on their upcoming album How Many Dreams? In our talk Johnny reassures us, however, that they are still a rock band and fans should not be too worried. We spoke about the upcoming album, their fans, old vs new songs, his early musical influences and a lot more!

Marlon Williams is a New Zealand singer-songwriter, guitarist and actor who'se self-titled debut album was released to great critical acclaim in New Zealand in 2015. His follow-up album 'Make Way For Love' (2018) topped the New Zealand charts, as has his newly released album 'My Boy'. We spoke with Marlon about the album, his maori roots showing up in his music, dipping his toe into acting, simplicity in his writing, fanding a healthy work/life balance, touring with Lorde, and a lot more!

James Kennedy is a Welsh independent singer, songwriter, author and musician, previously from rock band Kyshera. Aside from his succesful rock autobiography 'Noise Damage: My Life as a Rock'n'Roll Underdog' (202) Kennedy has released 5 solo albums, the latest being 'Make Anger Great Again'. We had a chat with James about re-releasing some of the songs as the 'Make Acoustic Great Again' EP, being shadow banned on YouTube, a few tough years, getting assaulted by police officers, resilience, acoustic songs, and a lot more!

Martijn Westerholt is a keyboardist and songwriter, and founder of Dutch symphonic metal band Delain. Westerholt is also known for his work with symphonic project Eye of Melian. After six succesful albums with Delain, vocalist Charlotte Wessels left the band in 2021, leaving the future of the band up in the air. Westerholt has decided to continue the band with a new line-up, and so we spoke with him about how the band almost ended, the new members, their new album Dark Waters, dealing with critique on social media, therapeutic songwriting, future plans, and more!
