Exploring the Divine Feminine

Exploring the Divine Feminine

Ramona Siddoway

We discuss the Mother in Heaven, the Patriarchal Order, Priesthood, Marriage, as well as female and male roles within the LDS community. Not a feminist group, but one that explores all things related to the power created through the combination of the feminine and masculine.Get your copy of "We are Adam: the Partnership of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and what it means for you", mentioned in this podcast, here: https://www.amazon.com/We-Are-Adam-Partnership-Garden/dp/1462138241/ref=sr_1_1?crid=RNSLJWDLB89B&dchild=1&keywords=we+are+adam+ramona+siddoway&qid=1602263514&sprefix=we+are+adam%2Caps%2C219&sr=8-1Read more at ramonasiddoway.com Follow me on Medium.comFollow me on Instagram: @exploringthefeminedivine

In this episode I discuss how we do not have all the priesthood keys as of yet. Some of those we are not given in this earth life and must wait until we are on the other side, and some cannot be used except by a Divine Pair.

Listen as I interview Haben Delallata, who has co- written "Inspired Living: a guide to ignite joy and prosperity." She discusses 3 intrinsic knowings that we are born with, how to wake up our intuition, and a reminder that we are not alone: we are partners with God!
Haben also gets real as she discusses depression and changes she needed to make in her good but "could be better" marriage, which was learning to lean into her Divine Feminine!
Her book will be released on June 24. You can get a copy on Amazon.

Most of us dream of a marriage that lasts for decades, rather than the few fickle months that we see in Hollywood tabloids. When we look at the marriage of Adam and Eve, it can be seen as nothing short of a love story.
How can that be when they did not date?
In this episode I discuss the "cult of western romance" and achieving the "stirring the oatmeal" kind of love, and how the mundane, day-to-day living life together is in reality quite holy.

Exploring the Divine Feminine - S1E19 How to forgive others and yourself

Is it easier for some people to forgive than others? In theory we all understand the commandment that we are to forgive everyone, whether or not we experience our idea of justice or even an apology. Most of us understand this idea on an experimental level, but sooner or later on a practical level some of us may start scrambling for the loop-hole, confident that the commandment surely didn’t really mean everyone.
What if it is just too hard? What if we just don’t know how to forgive?
I discuss what forgiveness is, and what it is NOT. For instance, it is giving up those negative emotions of anger, resentment, hate, revenge, bitterness, and grudges. But forgiveness is not condoning or excusing the action that caused harm, nor is it necessarily tied to reconciliation.
There are four reasons why forgiveness is so difficult for most people, but that there is hope for anyone and everyone.
In this episode I discuss the REACH step by step process of how to forgive others, and that includes yourself, often the hardest person to forgive.
While I mostly speak about concepts and topics that are within the context of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, forgiveness is for all Christians and religions, allowing individuals to experience peace and relief from a misguided commitment to anger and resentment.

I love learning about Mary and Jesus! In the Nag Hammadi library we have a curious statement by Jesus stating that he shall make Mary "male." While there are some unique commentaries on this, may I offer another suggestion that ties in with the "mysteries" of the kingdom and the temple?

How does God feel about polygamy? And does it really extend into eternity? What is the general law of marriage and what is the exception to the general law?
In part 1 of a 2 part special episode, I discuss D&C 132, most specifically about polygamy and why God chose to use the law of Hagar to teach us that not only does He understand the intensity of this commandment, but about elements about the Abrahamic sacrifice itself.
This should bring comfort and a bit more understanding about the nature of plural marriage and how it relates to Abraham.

Next week in part 2, I will go over commonly held cultural misunderstandings about plural marriage and put some ghosts to rest.

Exploring the Divine Feminine - Jesus as an archetype for the Mother in Heaven
play

Many faithful women desire to know more about their Mother in Heaven, to have a female role model and know of Her character as becoming like her is a righteous goal. However, as we wait for additional knowledge to be revealed, we have a sure foundation in the gift of Jesus Christ. Listen as I discuss the ways Jesus is an archetype for our Mother.
The scripture cited as to Philip asking Jesus to show him Heavenly Father is John 14:8-10

Exploring the Divine Feminine - S2E30 Restoration of the Mother in Heaven through Lehi's dream
play

02/25/22 • 42 min

Send us a text

I continue to share my research on the Mother in Heaven. Adding on from the last episode about what King Josiah removed from the temple and the national religion. There is a big difference between the first temple period and the second temple period.
We see in Lehi's vision what the religious elite tried to silence and delete.
Two main points to look out for in this episode and in your own scriptural study of Lehi's vision:
1) the very first two images that Nephi is shown in response to trying to understand the vision is Mary--a single woman--and then a woman holding a baby, the son of God.
2) One of Nephi's first acts in his new civilization was to build a temple AFTER THE MANNER OF SOLOMON, this first temple period, before the changes were made.
I love this stuff.
