Management Strategies for Opioid Use Disorder: Nonpharmacologic and Pharmacologic Approaches
In this episode, Michael Weaver, MD, DFASAM, provides information on both nonpharmacologic and pharmacologic treatment options for patients with opioid use disorder. Listeners will gain an understanding of the available counseling programs and medications for opioid use disorder—methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone—including the patient scenarios for which each may be most appropriate.
