Ara Katz is everything - literally. A founder, designer, artist, entrepreneur, mother, wife, the co-creator of Seed. She’s also a fellow at the MIT Media Lab’s Center for Future Storytelling, was named in Marie Claire’s “The New Guard: The 50 Most Influential Women in America”, listed on Business Insider’s “Silicon Alley Top 100” and “36 Rockstar Women in NYC Tech”, and was recently included in Create + Cultivate’s 100 List for STEM. After years in many fascinating jobs, from film to tech, Ara zoned in on her passion for health, which started after her mother’s passing, and realized the microbiome was a confusing, and untapped market that deserved a proper solution.
