We are saved by grace through faith and it's not of ourselves lest any one of us should boast. But Scriptures warn us that our faith can rest on the wisdom of men (1 Cor. 2:1-5).
Could it be that your faith is based upon the persuasion of some pastor or teacher and not from the Holy Spirit coming in power to bring grace and life through the power of the gospel?
When God's word speaks, gives us a warning, or asks us to give an account for the faith we have, we should listen!
