Eliza Mary Doyle is always on the go, and we caught up with her to discuss her melody-driven songwriting style as she walks us through her song called "Nothin' to Lose."
Her experience in the studio and her ability to bring performers together wherever the stage takes her has gained her an encyclopedia of knowledge over the past twenty years. She has performed in groups and as a solo act in Canada, Europe, and the United States.
Her travels have taken her all over the world, but she still feels drawn to the Great White North. During a five-week residency in Stanley Mission, Saskatchewan, she became aware of the need for ongoing programming, which led her to co-found C.A.M.P (Community Arts Mentorship Program), a non-profit organization that was recently recognized by the Saskatchewan Music Awards.

The folk singer grew up singing in church and at provincial music festivals. He got his first guitar when he was 13 years old, a relic he brought with him when his family moved out of the city and into the wide open spaces of Southern Saskatchewan.
Between videography and photography projects, he utilizes the quiet countryside to capture the crisp sounds of his acoustic and his smooth vocals. He takes some time to tell us the story behind the song he calls "Fair to Middlin."

The country songwriter based out of New Braunfels, Tx released "Heartache Songs" in 2022, David Miner joins the podcast to share the story about how his friend Muskrat Jones added a melody line on the steel guitar, while Skyler Thimens added the drums and Charlie J. Memphis played the bass. Together they transformed an acoustic song into his latest single, "Pennies out of Pain."

Liam St. John joins us to talk about one of his latest singles "Dipped in Bleach." The singer/songwriter released a raw, uncut collection of songs called "Stripped Back" and in 2022 it became the #1 Blues Albums on Apple Music.
