Eternal Impact is a podcast about how Biblical characters and stories have changed lives today, accomplished through discussions with pastors and ministry leaders about their lives, struggles, journeys to salvation, and what parts of the Bible they most relate to. God uses stories to help us relate to Him and His truth. Often times, there is one particular character, parable, or story in the Bible that jumps out at us more than others because we personally connect with the person in the passage and understand who they really were. Gideon questioned that God had the right person because he didn’t feel qualified. Peter got in a lot of trouble because he often stuck his foot in his mouth. The unforgiving servant was shown mercy, then didn’t extend the same to another. Our desire for Eternal Impact is that these episodes would bring these Biblical characters and stories to life in a way that helps the audience connect to scripture, relate to what they went through, and apply it to their lives. We do this by meeting with pastors and ministry leaders to discuss their lives and who they personally connect with in the Bible.

Podcast Q&A

Why did you start this show?

I wanted to take the concept of identifying with the lives of people in the Bible and expand upon it to see who pastors and ministry leaders identify with.

What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?

I want listeners to relate more to the people in the Bible and realize that we can see glimpses of their personalities based on their words, actions, and interactions with others.

Which episode should someone start with?

If you're serving faithfully in someone's ministry or leading a ministry yourself, check out "The Faith of the Armor Bearer" with Mike Dsane. If you're dealing with some trauma, check out "The Just Shall Live By Faith" with Mickey Stonier, who was a chaplain at ground zero in NYC after the 9/11 attacks. If you work in the business of Hollywood or are a fan of Hollywood entertainment, check out "Praying for People in Hollywood" with Karen Covell of the Hollywood Prayer Network.

Which have been your favourite episodes so far?

Honestly, every episode has something that has stayed with me. This is like asking me to pick a favorite child.

Which episode are you most proud of?

I am most proud of "The Faith of the Armor Bearer" from combined creative, technical, and content perspectives. Especially the video version of the episode.

What is your vision for your show?

My vision for Eternal Impact is to continue these discussions with pastors and eventually create some spin-offs where we bring Biblical stories to life in slightly different formats.

Tell us a bit about yourself

Aaron Matthew Kaiser is a filmmaker and the host of Eternal Impact. He gave his life to Christ in the summer of 1992, at the age of 12, while attending youth group at Shadow Mountain Community Church in San Diego. Here, Aaron learned from many pastors, including preacher Dr. David Jeremiah. Aaron participated in missions trips, acquired a love for apologetics, and served in his first ministry leadership role by teaching peer-level Bible studies while in high school.
