Dr. Chance Lewis, Carol Grotnes Belk Distinguished Professor of Urban Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Executive Director of the Urban Education Collaborative at UNC Charlotte. Dr. Lewis has over 100 publications, including more than 70 refereed journal articles in the leading academic journals in the field of urban education, and has authored, co-authored, or co-edited 30 books.
