What we’re Enjoying
Jay is having a great time with the third and final season of Marvel’s What If...? on Disney+. Great tales in the Marvel multiverse with your favorite character and even voiced by many of the original actors from the live action movies and series. Shua has been getting very retro by listening to the great Satchamo himself, Louis Armstrong. He was an amazing jazz talent with a legacy that will endure forever.
Sci-Fi Saturdays
This week on Sci-Fi Saturdays Jay writes about the 2009 reboot of Star Trek with Chris Pine, Zach Quinto, and a variety of talented actors and actresses that give their interpretations of the beloved characters. It divided fans a bit, but there were great things in this, the first of three movies. Read his article on RetroZap.com. And make sure to play around with the interactive map on MCULocationScout.com. Plus, you can tune in to SHIELD: Case Files where Jay and Shua talk about great stuff in the MCU.
Enjoy Looking Back!

What we’re Enjoying
Shua found a new series of books by an author named Dennis E. Taylor. It’s all about a guy named Bob, who’s been revived 150 years after his death in the 21st century and had his consciousness placed inside a self-replicating computer, spaceship. His directive is to find a new home for the dying human race. Soon he has the makings of many copies of himself, creating the Bob-iverse. Jay has been enjoying James Gunn’s first DC release in the animated series Creature Commandos on Max. An adult show that is proving to be a unique take on the superhero/monster genre
Sci-Fi Saturdays
This week on Sci-Fi Saturdays Jay pulled a lot of resources to review Push. It’s a different kind of superhero movie and features Dakota Fanning and a pre-MCU Chris Evans. He also tells us about a little known sci-fi movie called Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel. It takes all the tropes of time travel movies and throws it into a fun comedy. Read his article on RetroZap.com. And make sure to play around with the interactive map on MCULocationScout.com. Plus, you can tune in to SHIELD: Case Files where Jay and Shua talk about great stuff in the MCU.

Sci-Fi Saturdays
This week on Sci-Fi Saturdays Jay blasts off with the 2009 movie Moon. Sam Rockwell is an astronaut that has spent years in space and faces challenges right before getting back. A crazy time travel experience that explores the psyche. Read his article on RetroZap.com. And make sure to play around with the interactive map on MCULocationScout.com. Enjoy Movies!
Fans of Monty Python may know Terry Gilliam as the animator of their bizarre cartoons featured on the show. Or as the only American born member of the legendary troupe. But as his career progressed, Gilliam took his imaginative talents to the director’s chair. His visually stunning and sometimes uncomfortable films thrust you into dream-like worlds and explored important characteristics of society. From the time-hopping child view of Time Bandits, to the award winning exploration of class structure in Brazil, Gilliam takes you on a brain trip with each of his tales. If it weren’t for his terrible luck during productions, we may have even more to explore. This is Terry Gilliam.
