The 8 Steps To Elev8 Your Sleep
- Maintain a consistent sleep schedule: Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends.
- Begin winding down in the evening
- 7:30pm dinner
- Don’t eat 2 hours before bed
- Bed by 10
- Create a sleep-friendly environment:
- Ensure your bedroom is dark
- quiet use ear plus if need be (or use sleep music)
- cool - 65 degrees is best
- Consider using earplugs or an eye mask if necessary.
- Limit exposure to screens before bedtime: The blue light emitted by phones, tablets, computers, and TVs can interfere with your sleep.
- Cut off caffeine and alcohol 3-4 hours before bed
- Get regular exercise: Regular physical activity can help you fall asleep faster and enjoy deeper sleep.
