2. **Turn Off Water:** Locate and shut off the main water supply to prevent further damage.

3. **Document the Damage:** Take photos or videos of the affected areas for insurance purposes.
- This is BEFORE and DURING the repairs.
- Keep all receipts starting from this point and forward for your insurance for claim purposes and reimbursements.
4. **Call Professionals:** Contact a plumber or relevant professionals to assess and fix the issue.
5. **Mitigate Water Damage:** Use towels, buckets, or a wet-dry vacuum to minimize water damage until help arrives.
- This can be tough depending on where the leak is...so only option might be turning off the water.
