US Army Lt. Col. Matt Urban "The Ghost" was among the most decorated American WWII soldiers. His actions were instrumental in aiding the success of his unit, the 2nd Battalion of the 60th Infantry Regiment, as they fought in North Africa and then through Northern Europe on their advance towards Berlin. Though injured, he fought on and was an inspiring leader to his men. He was a US military hero who was awarded the US Medal of Honor, and I am honored to tell you his true story.

Transcript
Hi everyone, In this premiere episode of Duty & Valor, I’m going to tell you the story of a man who selflessly served our nation in the midst of the most horrific fighting during WWII. A man whose battlefield actions would be considered fiction if it weren’t real. A man who, if you called him a hero, it would be an understatement. A man who would earn the Medal of Honor, two Silver Stars, Legion of Merit, three Bronze Stars with valor, and seven Purple Hearts among many awards.
