Drinking Inside the Box

We are tantalizingly close to the return of the Premier League and we take some time to introduce the new boys ahead of the first games. We also take a look at the new managers coaching styles, the new team, and some transfer rumors floating around the league. In unrelated segments we travel to Italy to discuss babies, discuss the Women's Olympic soccer final, talk about jerseys, Kelly's upcoming trip to England, and, of course, our upcoming 24 hr pod-a-thon to support Jamie Carragher's 23 Foundation. As awesome as it was to have a sad Gordon, alone in his basement on a shit headphone mic, it's so nice to have Kelly back! The dynamic duo discusses the penultimate game week which leads into one of the most exciting Championship Sunday in recent memory. They polish off a few Monaco's before the pod even begins so things get off to a fast start. They discuss Liverpool's "failure", Watford's botch job, and West Ham's main man.

A nerve has been struck and Gordon almost doesn't make it through the episode. The weekend went from bad to worse as we witnessed our beloved Liverpool fall to Bournemouth mere days after the United thumping. Then we had to sit through a breakfast of the podcast criticisms we so desperately thought we craved. But we got over it pretty quickly with some dyed green vodka shots for the two reds. It's longer, it's crappier, it's drunker. Thanks to a work trip and three red cards in week 4, Kelly and Gordon get a little talkative this week, in a sub-par quality way.
