This iconic scene scared a generation of children but, as is mentioned in Andrew Marshall's anecdote, was initially much scarier.

In Whoopee, We're All Going to Die, the brilliant conclusion to Series Three, the Porters near the end of their Florida holiday and their lives are in danger as Hurricane Bill follows them.
