DogLogical: Making Sense of Your Dog's Behavior
** Trigger Warning ** We discuss child and animal abuse in this episode.
Sasha joins us to give real-life insight into exactly what it is like to be the guardian of a big, strong dog like her Boerboel Dave in a world where you are judged by stereotypes. Alongside this, we dive into how Sasha turned her training journey around from someone who used punishment and intimidation a strong advocate for force/free methods. Sasha also openly discusses her childhood and how it shaped her vision of what she thought love and caring was, only to realize that especially when it came to her dogs she was ultimately doing far more harm than good.
You can find Sasha and her boys on Instagram at @therealdavidgrowl and @hugo_the_hooligan The rescue Sasha mentions is @projectunderdogrescue
