11/15/21 • 43 min

Do Your Children Believe?

In today's episode of Victorious Friday we have special guest, George Barna. George Barna is the founder of The Barna Group, a market research firm specializing in studying the religious beliefs and behavior of Americans, and the intersection of faith and culture.

George and I discuss new research and insights into Millennials in America.

Millennials:
• Are the most populous generation in American society
• Currently constitute close to four out of every 10 working-age Americans
• Comprise the primary parenting-age segment in the United States

Highlights:
• 24 out of every 25 Millennials (96%) lack a biblical worldview.
• Three-fourths say they lack meaning and purpose in life.

Questions:
1. What are the circumstances under which the generation has grown up?
2. What challenges do they face verses previous generations that are impacting them?
3. What were some of the key finds from this research that Christians parents and the church should know?
4. How can we best help this generation to flourish spiritually, emotionally, and physically?
5. What can you pull from this latest research that would indicate the impact on the family of the millennial that we should understand?

Many people desire to improve their lives, particularly their relationships; however, few are willing to make the necessary changes to see lasting results.

As a pastor, spiritual director, and relationship coach, Pastor Griffin has taught the Enneagram to numerous colleagues, church lay leaders, congregations, not-for-profits, schools, businesses, and community service organizations in the last decade.
