Members Reviews: very cool follow up this was a great follow-up to the first series I really wish they offered them just as the set all of the books in one single volume. but I do like the appearance of the old characters in the new series good read, not so good listen. really enjoyed the story, but as much as i love Andrew Macarthy, I didn't feel like his voice was suitable for this particular story. He did dona great job with the nixie's voice. I loved the story so much I endured. Bring back Mark Hamill. Loved it It was the best and I did not wont it to be over. I loved it so much and I want to buy a more. Cute, Clever Followup to Spiderwick Chronicles Any additional comments? I do like 2 hour audiobooks since they are easily finished which leads to a sense of accomplishment. These are a followup to the original Spiderwick Chronicle 1-5. I thought the way we lead into these was rather cute and clever. In this book, kids who have the published field guide, encounter some fairy folk and become embroiled in trouble. In an attempt to come up with a solution they even try going to a book signing being done by the authors. It was just sort of cute how the authors become characters in the story about how their last story wasn't fiction at all. At the signing they meet Jared Grace, only to discover he is really Jared something else - his name having been changed for the "book". Of course, you could use this setup to create a zillion sequels, but I still thought it was cleverly done. I enjoyed the characters and liked the story well enough to at least go to part 2 (this has 3 parts). Creepy This book was not my cup of tea in AKA I don't really like it so over all cheers

And this was great as far as setting - itâs in India. And the final clue had me stumped until the end! Y My kid could not find the whole set and this is the one he was missing. It did the job. Five stars, man. We just really enjoy Roy's books. This one includes an extra kid character which shakes things up a little. We hope you like it. Can't put them down. These mystery books are amazing... I finish each one in two days. I must say that these books for kids are going to be the most popular mystery books for ages... Can't wait to read the next one. When I have to go to sleep I just can't put any of the books down... They inspire me. great read My son loves these books. Great read for him. He's 8. It holds his attention. He reads it from cover to cover at one time. As a parent it's great to have a child that loves to read. I would recommend this book.

Isabel's Mom This is the 6th book in the series of rainbow fairy books. My daughter (almost 6) absolutely loves these books and they are a great introduction to chapter books. She lines them up in order and anxiously awaits the arrival in the next ordered book of the series. It is a nice change for me to read something that entertains me too as I read to her. She delights in having them read to her and as her reading skills emerge, she will be able to enjoy them again when she can read to herself. I listened to this with my 6 year old in the car, and she was completely engaged in the story, and was asking for more when it was over. Great listen for a short family drive. Enjoyed it I can see how the book can appeal to people of all ages. I really enjoyed the talk with the horse and when the velveteen rabbit met the real rabbits. I bought the velveteen rabbit and Riki ticky tavi for my 5 year old to fall asleep to and it works like a charm. She almost always chooses this one because she is afraid of the snake in Riki. James Mio has a relaxing voice. It's a sweet little story. The story works really well as an audio book for her age. I don't fell like we are missing out by not having pictures and it isn't too long for a 5 year old Wonderful at any age Would you listen to The Velveteen Rabbit again? Why?
