Not sure what we can write in the show notes for this one!
First ever #F1 race attended in person for the two of us and it was all we imagined and so much we could never of dared to imagine.
Attending the 2023 Canadian GP was just a superb adventure and one neither of us will ever forget.
So other than say thanks to Pitlane Paul we think we'll just let you listen to our account of a weekend in #Montreal.
Oh, and yes, we're still smiling!!

F1 headed to the land of the rising sun this week as the Japanese GP took place at the Suzuka Circuit.
The story of the week for some conspiracy theorists out there (and our very own Sap) was the the technical directive had brought Red Bull back into the pack which had seen Sainz grab the win on the last time out.
However, right from the first practice, Max was on a mission to remind everyone that it was just a blip.
The guys pull apart the weeks news as well as doing break down of all the main events over the race weekend. There is also a big discussion around the future of Logan Sargeant.

Brian says Schumi, Rob says Schuey, they both say GOAT
Dirty Side of the Track
01/31/22 • 73 min
This weeks episode covers the usual social & news round up of all things going on in the world of #F1 covering items such as Cristiano Ronaldo's legs (?), Kimi's neck, Red Bull's engine, 2022 unveiling schedule, and much more.
Then we do our second driver review. A few episodes ago we looked at Brian's choice of Jim Clark, and now we turn the spotlight to Rob's first pick; the one and only Michael Schumacher.
We take a look at his early life, route into F1 involving taxi cab attacks in London, and then his progression from rookie to greatest of all time.
Rob may never be allowed back in the UK following the revelations of his viewpoint around a certain high profile moment in Schumacher's career and once again we have some heated debate as the pair don't see eye to eye on this one.
So, bring your popcorn, pull up a bar stool, and enjoy.

Dirty Side of the Track
02/21/22 • 58 min
This week the guys wade through the ever increasing news & social feeds of the world of #F1. Things are starting to heat up as we get closer to the new season and it's all very exciting.
As well as sharing their view on the current goings on in the sport, they then take a look at alternative F1 histories.

As well as try and do a serious look at this they also take a few silly what if scenarios as life is more fun when you goof around!

Dirty Side of the Track
01/03/22 • 84 min
Episode 4 see the guys welcome their first guest to the Dirty Side of the Track.
Paul Harris has over twenty years experience working in F1 for teams such as BAR, Honda, Brawn, and Mercedes.
He's seen it all in the paddock and shares his insights into such things as:
- What happens behind the scenes both during a race weekend and the build up to it
- Favorite & least favorite tracks to visit
- What life on the road is like with so much time away from home
- Driver stories
- Pit lane pranks and lots more!
The episode is a long one but we had so much to talk about with him. So much in fact we didn't get through it all and Paul will make a return in the future.
Enjoy

A case of Brawn vs brains
Dirty Side of the Track
02/07/22 • 67 min
This week the guys take a look at a truly remarkable season in recent #F1 history.
The year was 2009.
A financial crisis had led to #Honda pulling out of #F1.
The team had no idea what was going to happen next and if they would survive as a team.
Our returning guest, Paul Harris, recounts what it was like being inside that environment from driving trucks to circuits not knowing it the team would still exist when they arrived, to borrowing glue from other teams, and washing nuts & bolts so that they could be re-used.
How could they go up against the brains & financial power of all the giants of the sport?
Listen as Paul takes us through the season that truly should be made into a #Holywood movie.
Oh, and listen as he is also the first guest to take part in the Dirty Side's 100 Seconds of DRS!
Hope you enjoy listening to him as much as we did.

Crystal balls and upsetting Brian
Dirty Side of the Track
01/10/22 • 49 min
This week on the Dirty Side of the track we take a look at two main topics.
1 - We get our crystal balls out and make our 2022 predictions. However these come at a cost with the revelation Brian may not be able to continue hosting the podcast!
2 - What's all the fuss about the new cars? We go all Q from James Bond and try to explain why the current cars are not great at following each other and what makes the 2022 cars designed to be able to do just that.
There is also a plea to follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram as we would love to start a regular Q&A section on the show and need your input.
